I need help finding an elocked 5th gen axle for my 4Runner

I've been checking car-part.com every single day for the last couple years and have never seen a locked 8.2 for less than $2,500. I've seen posts where people score one for less than $1k, or even less than $500. What am I doing wrong? I must be looking in the wrong places. I will take any advice anyone is able to offer.

I was lucky and got the rear 3rd 3locker from a FJ.. Same 373 gears just had to notch the case.

That bigger axle also came on 2010+ FJ's. I bought mine for $1700 and it is a direct bolt in. I made my own wiring harness and added the switch in the center console. Of coarse I installed new wheel bearings and seals and painted it....:cheers:
