Thanks for the input. I have noticed that if I am in s4 on side streets that the problem goes away. It only occurs when I am in D. If it is a transmission issue....it should happen all of the time correct?

2005 Not sure of production year? 4x4 132,000 miles +/- Cylinder 6 The small shop that diagnosed the problem (dealership had two shots to get it right) said it was a very minor leak so I could limp along for a while but I should plan on dealing with it sooner than later. Same symptoms...

I'm looking to purchase a set of OEM 4Runner rims that will fit a 2005 4Runner...the ones I have are chipping/rusting. They don't have to be in great shape or anything, my plan is to purchase, sandblast/powdercoat and replace the ones I have....then I'll sell the set currently on my 4Runner...

now that I think about it.....wouldn't the maintenance light be more geared towards it needing an oil change (which it doesn')....? You'll have to cut me some slack....I know jack about vehicles.

My maintenance light came on Friday...and my co-worker has one of those little code computers (don't know the technical term) that you can plug in to the vehicle to get the code for what's wrong with the vehicle. Does anyone know where this input is at? I tried looking but I'm not exactly sure...

My TPMS light came on my '05 SR5 so I added air to the tires at 50psi each, tire says max of 52 psi. Cannot get the TPMS light to turn off on my dash? I'm assuming there is a way to get this light to turn off...
