I'm looking to purchase a set of OEM 4Runner rims that will fit a 2005 4Runner...the ones I have are chipping/rusting. They don't have to be in great shape or anything, my plan is to purchase, sandblast/powdercoat and replace the ones I have....then I'll sell the set currently on my 4Runner.

I'm also looking for a skid plate...cannot seem to find them anywhere?

I'm in Minnesota (Mpls) so I'd like to try to keep it somewhat local. Shoot me a message if you have what I'm looking for.

fyi the skid plate is not discontinued. I've been looking for one for a couple months now, just on and off checking ebay and googling. No dealerships have them anymore and I haven't found a place online with them due to being discontinued. It seems the demand increased as soon as they disappeared...

The skid plate is a tough one. I would suggest creating a google alert with the description "toyota skid plate" and "pt212-89070" and the like, then wait for the eBay or craigslist opportunity.

I know proof positive the Tundra and the 4Runner skid plates themselves are identical. Its the mounting brackets that are different. I would assume the Tacoma is the same, but I can't verify that for sure.

Depending on how serious you are, you could buy one for a Tundra and have the brackets fabricated pretty easily.

The only odd one in the group is the Rivet Bolts that you can buy from Mcmaster.com part number 98093A558 ($5 for a set). These secure the brackets to the frame and would fall inside the tubes upon disassembly, so they won't be available.
