It looks like the cables in the rear lift gate have rusted out where they clamp on the window. Now the window stays down. Looking for a quick fix. I don’t need the window to work, just want it to stay up. Any ideas? I was thinking of trying to hold it up with wire. Maybe weld a bracket?

The vibration in the steering wheel kicked in at about 65 mph. I brought the vehicle to the dealer. They did a 4 wheel alignment and the vibration is now gone.

It snowed so much that the road had to be cleared with a back hoe and grader. The snow was too deep for the plow.

My 4runner is a V8 and I had the Silent Armour tires on since November. I can honestly say I did not notice any difference if fuel economy. I never tried swapping the tires, but I do know what the ride was like before and after putting the BFG AT's. Unless it is a smooth surfaced highway...

I just bought a new set of BFG AT for my truck and a set of Goodyear Wrangler Silent Armour for my 4runner. I'll tell you that the BFG's really look good, but the ride is very rough. I feel every bump on the road. I did not notice any increase in road noise. The Silent Armour are tens time...

My rear wiper stopped working. It had stopped working for a month or so and then all of sudden starting working again. Now six months later it has once again stopped working. Any ideas?

Same thing happened to me. My first try to fix it was to disconnect the battery. My second try was to check the gas cap and then disconnect the battery - it worked.

I previously owned a Tacoma and now have a 4runner. The Tacoma was a rougher ride and had less power. The Tacoma lost power going up hills when towing an aluminum boat. The V8 4runner is much better suited for towing and a much smoother ride. The 4runner also has more room for the family...

With all of your mods and pics in the past, I think you've earned the right for T4R of the month!

Love the set up. Did you install yourself? If not, what did it cost you to install. I'm looking at getting the same set up, just want a price check. Thanks

I do have the third row seating. Had I known I would have opted out. It's frustrating enough that I'm seriously debating on selling.
