    Door lock actuators.....

Replacement Motors - Amazon These are the motors that I purchased from Amazon. I haven't had any problems with them. I've replace two on my 2010 Limited so far. My son just notified me that the auto lock on his 2014 Tacoma isn't working, and I suspect the motor. Appears that this is a fairly...

    Drivers Door Lock stuck

I replaced the motor in my lock actuator today, and it's working great. I appreciate the information in this thread. I ordered a 4-pack of motors from Amazon and used the videos from two previous posts in this thread. The process was relatively simple. I have a 2010 LE, and the actuators are...

Key - keyhole (ignition) locks up - won't turn

This is really good info. I had a similar problem. Removed the cylinder. Took to my local locksmith, and he rebuilt it for $20. It's working like a charm. With the help of YouTube, removal of the cylinder took less than 15 minutes. Re-installation took about 5 minutes. Thank you for all of the...

    Bad rear brake light

I have a 2010 Limited, and my left brake light was working intermittently, as well. I started troubleshooting yesterday. The socket for this bulb has exposed connections, so checking voltage was easy. With the brake pedal depressed, I had no voltage on the left brake light. I moved upstream on...

    Front Wiper Intermittent Problem

I saw there was a test procedure in the FSM for the switch. I'll use that to test the old and new switch to confirm they are working properly.

    Front Wiper Intermittent Problem

The stalk is new. I purchased from Rockauto. Brand is Airtex. I'll check the connector for any signs of a bad connection.

    Front Wiper Intermittent Problem

I have 1998 T4R Limited, and my intermittent wiper function is...well... intermittent. Sometimes it works properly, and sometimes it is always on the low setting. I thought it was a wiper switch problem and ordered a replacement. I installed it today, and the same condition exists. I downloaded...

2010 T4R front wheel bearing failures

Just replaced my front left bearing on a 2010 LE at 84k miles. Jacked up the front, removed both tires, and spun the hubs. It was clear which one was bad.

    Stank A$$ AC Smell...

I have the same problem; however, it is not year round. It only happens on extremely hot days (90+) and only at start up. After a few minutes, the smell goes away. I have changed my cabin air filter, but this did not help. Next spot to check is the evaporator. Let us know what you determine.

    Anti-Pinch Window Problem

Having a problem with the rear, driver-side window in my 2010 LE. When I roll it up using auto, it immediately rolls back down. I think this is due to the limit setting on the anti-pinch function. If I don't use auto, I can get the window to roll up almost to the stop position. Searched for...

    20 inch wheels on LIMITED

These look great. I was reading a couple of threads yesterday on this subject and came to the conclusion that this was my best option. Where did you purchase the rims???

    2014 4Runner Owner Pictures

I was wondering the same thing. I know the battery warning light indicates a problem with the charging system, but I really like having an analog voltmeter to provide a heads up on a potential (no pun intended) problem, as well.

    2014 4Runner Owner Pictures

Saw two more 2014 LEs (black and mag gray) at a local dealer while picking up parts this afternoon. Tail lights look good along with the new rims on the mag gray.

    TYC Headlights

I installed TYC headlights in my 1998 Limited, and I have a question about the reflector cones. The cone in the right assembly (left in picture) appears to point straight out; however the cone in the left assembly (right in picture) points downward at an odd angle. (Hope the picture shows what...
