Anti-Pinch Window Problem

Having a problem with the rear, driver-side window in my 2010 LE. When I roll it up using auto, it immediately rolls back down. I think this is due to the limit setting on the anti-pinch function. If I don't use auto, I can get the window to roll up almost to the stop position. Searched for anti-pinch, but I didn't find any info. Found a youtube video that shows how to reset the limit position. Anyone know whether this is correct or have an alternate suggestion???...Thanks

PS - Checked for trash in the upper track, but it was clear.

Spray out the tracks with some compressed air then use a rubber cleaner and qtip to clean out the tracks. I've had times where I couldn't see anything in there but a cleaning solved the problem.

I had the same problem on my acura when I tinted the windows and installed felt on the weatherstripping. I had to re calibrate the auto feature by doing a combination of up/down presses and holds on the switch. I wonder if toyota has a way of doing this.

Might want to try disconnecting the battery and then reinitializing them for jam protection.... from a Toyota TSB .....http://www.toyota-4runner.org/tsb/8...4runner-window-initialazation.html#post781077

Note:..........after disconnecting the battery ,all your radio presets will be lost and the first time you start it up it will stall after one or two seconds and then start as normal the second start. That's normal.
