Bent rear axle; USDM T4R in Australia

Okay, long story short, I backed hard into a ditch and bent the right ride of the rear axle forward to the point where the wheel is turned inward. Question: Does a Hilux Surf or normal Hilux rear axle fit a 3rd gen 4Runner SR5 V6 4WD? Edit: Or a Land Cruiser Prado?

    4-pin to 7-pin adapter for 3rd Gen?

This makes me a sad panda. I'm also living in Australia with a USDM 4Runner, so no U-Hauls around. This makes me a sadder panda. Looks like brakeless towing's in the future.

    4-pin to 7-pin adapter for 3rd Gen?

I want to connect the trailer that has a 7 pin plug to the 4 pin connector on my truck. You're saying there is no way to do this?

    4-pin to 7-pin adapter for 3rd Gen?

Does someone sell an adapter to connect the 4Runner's 4-pin towing plug to a 7-pin round plug?

What is the offset for the factory 99 SR5 4WD 16x7 wheels?

I'm trying to see what would fit on there and I can't find a single solid answer in the search.

    Wheel/tire size question...

Will the stock 16" wheels and tires rub when flexing, or do I need something narrower? Also, is there a 15" wheel I can but that'll fit? Thinking about doing that because the tires are considerably cheaper.

    Wheel/tire size question...

I have a 99 SR5 4WD, V6, and the wheels and tires it came with I know are stock for a 4Runner, 16 inch, 265/70/16, checked the space to verify, but the door jam sticker says 225/75/15. The tires stick past the fender a little bit and I got some Bushwacker flares to fix that, but what's up with...

Winter gas....enlighten me. I'm a little dumb on this subject matter.

    Poor gas mileage...

So, I just bought a relatively high mileage, but in absolutely pristine condition 99 SR5 4WD, and everything about it is fantastic, but I'm noticing particularly poor fuel efficiency. there's no check engine light, previous owner just had the headgasket replaced and I had a full inspection done...

Hey, new member, bout to pick up my first SUV

So, I'm moving to Australia this summer and I needed something reliable and road legal, so naturally it was a choice between a Toyota truck or Subaru. I found an absolutely gorgeous 99 T4R SR5, high miles but its all highway and meticulously taken care of. A good family friend who has owned...
