To me it is based on the question, "What is the most important job of the President of the United States?" And my answer is to be the representative and face of this country. It is arguable whether we are the "greatest" country in the world depending on what measuring stick you may choose, be it education, gdp, employment rate, citizen happiness level, etc etc; but we are currently the country most of the other world looks to. So, I ask myself if Trump is someone who I would want to represent us. My answer is simply no. Overlooking all of the misogynistic and bigoted rhetoric that he speaks or the hyperbole in which he speaks it, I see someone who just can't take criticism nor someone who would be diplomatic or moderate. Many would say that's exactly what this country needs. I disagree.

You've got a point. Sure she is a proven liar war monger who only cares about her moneyed interests and will perpetuate an oligarchy, but she isn't Trump. That's the nicest thing I can say about her, who she isn't.
It's extremely depressing, be complacent and embrace having to settle for the corrupt establishment or give the nuke codes to the reality tv show host with tiny hands.
It's an embarrassing time to be an American.

But, you being Canadian...i would expect that you want America to fail badly...because that is the only way that your own country get any respect...hmmm, maybe that is why you like Clinton so much?

The last time America 'failed badly' was under Bush. It was great for us. Our money was worth more than yours for a while there for the first time in my life, but I still wasn't a Bush supporter.
What is it about Hilary that is comparable to having your toenails pulled by a misogynistic podiatrist?
PS- I'm always amazed that this forum, dedicated to a mid-sized Japanese SUV, leans so far to the right. Even the forums for the big American pickups aren't as right leaning as this place seems to be.

Well, i bought the Prius not to save the planet, but because i am cheap!
When my commute became more treacherous and distant, i bought something bigger and hungrier.No, i am not a hardcore conservative, but i do value my rights, deeply believe in capitalism, and respect what the constitution stands for. If someone from the left wing labeled me as a nut for these beliefs, then so be it.

No, i just speak of what i have observe. I am not complaining nor being intolerant. People can blame others for their failures all day long (that's the status quo these days)...but i was not raised up that way. And hell if i let my kids do the same. I do point out to my kids the wrongs of society so that they do not fall into the pitfalls. That is what parents should do IMHO.
No need to exaggerate what i wrote into anything more than that. :bigok:
