0 Gauge Wiring Options Under Seat Amps

Hello Everyone,

I did search but was unable to find an exact answer to my question. I will be mounting a 4 channel amp under the driver's seat and a class D amp under the passenger seat. I have a dual 31 AGM battery set up so the auxiliary battery will be used to power the amps. I've run the O gauge power cable from the battery (passenger side close to firewall) through a large grommet and to the area under the passenger seat. I'm using a three way fused block for the amps and a similar three way (with metal ground connectors in place of where the fuses would go) as a centralized ground location. Both blocks and the class d mono amp are all located on an 1/4" ABS panel under the passenger seat.
Here's my question. I'd like to run a 0 guage power and ground wires from the three way block under the passenger seat to the driver's side to provide power and ground for the four channel amp under the driver's seat. I'd prefer to take the shortest route. Has anyone found a way to go under the center console with wires that large or is there a hidden area I'm not aware of? Near the front of both seats there is a hollow tube like structure I'm certain is used for body stiffening that both heated ducts go through (perpendicular) and I had considered cutting or drilling a hole large enough to pass the cables through. Just looking for ideas really.

I have multiple 0,2,4 gauge wires running down both sides of my 4R since I moved the batteries to the back, but that's another story. I think with 0 gauge it's going to be tough to run over the center console. I ran some speaker wire over it and that was about it. I think your best bet is to go just behind the center console and around it under the carpet this would the fastest and probably the easiest which will no be seen and require no cutting. Really no need to run a ground wire from passenger side to driver side. Just ground in under seat bolts. This is what I have done. It keeps the ground short and very clean.

I did similar with my 4Runner radar/Amp/GMRS radio set up. Cables can pass between, but I didn't use 0 gauge for my 600w amp. Not necessary.

So that I understand should I go back through the passenger side kick kick panel then mount under carpet and behind console (parallel with firewall) and then back down the driver's side kick panel to the driver's side seat? No. if your distribution block is under the passenger seat, just go under the carpet behind the center console (towards the rear seats) and that come back towards the front and come out under the driver seat. This would be easier than running a much longer cable from under the passenger seat up to the dash and up and around to driver side under the dash and back the underneath of the driver seat. This is far more work than it's worth.
