01 4runner 4x4 issues

When placed in 4 wheel drive the lights only blink never actually go solid. I originally thought it was one of the 4 switches located on the t-case actuator and top of t-case but after pulling each of those they all tested good. My next thought was to test the rear t-case actuator itself pulled it off cleaned it up put it back together and manually shifted from 2wd to 4wd using pins 1 & 2 with a power and ground wire running off the battery so everything seems to check out fine there. So I figured it had to be my front actuator (the one that is bolted to the front tube) so today I pulled it and disassembled it (looks perfect inside) so then I tested it the same way I tested the t-case actuator except using pins 1 & 5 and it worked fine. So while I still had it out of the front tube I decided I'd see what it would do plugged in when I hit the 4x4 button or shifted to 4lo. When I hit the button or shifted to 4lo the actuator would slide over to the 4wd position and right back to the 2wd position in one solid motion. Only thing I can think is maybe a computer problem.

Not real sure where to go from here any help would be appreciated.

My buddy's 4x4 computer by the left kickpanel in his t100 gave up the ghost years back and after a $40 to the yard, he was back in business. It was due to his crossing a shallow stream some months prior.
