Looks really clean! Welcome to T4R.org - this place is chock full of expertise, how-to's and super helpful owners... Congrats on the rig! :)

Thanks! I got tired of stealing my wife's 4Runner so I decided to get one for myself! Got it for song which means I'll have money to put into maintenance! I feel like it will last longer than I will need it too. :thumb3:

Thanks everybody! Its a nice rig just needs a little work to get it where I want it to be. No buyer remorse on this one!! Selling some PTO next month for tires and might get the Tacoma parts then also :-)

Well the low pad indicator started howling on the passenger side.......so it seems like I will be doing the 231 Tundra brake upgrade!! :hungry: So collecting parts right now hopefully if I can get some help and do the upgrade this weekend.

Yea OhTwo that sounds good man just hit me up before you plan being here and we can shoot the breeze.

Yea you are kind of right 96743runner! In fact when I told my wife about finding this one she asked what color it was. "I don't want it to look like Christmas year round in my driveway" was the first thing she said! But for the price and everything i told her we could deal with it! :biggrin2:

Thanks for the compliments! If it wasn't going to be a daily driver and I was planning on keeping it I would build it. But it will only be in the family for the next year or so.

The wife and I are trying to save as much money as we can right now to pay down on our house and save for her a new ride. IF things go according to plan we will be able to get her a few year old F*** Edge and only owe $5000 or so.

After she gets a new ride and it it payed off the 2000 IJM will be built up! I have got some ambitious plans for it.

I'm running the Cooper ATP's in the 265/75R16 and I've been really happy with them. Hardly any road noise and a smooth ride.

So I found out before I got my 4runner that it was originally a northern 4runner. When I looked at it it only had some very mild surface rust. The point is I started trying to do the brake upgrade this weekend and have torn up an off brand socket driver plus a Craftsman socket driver and used about a ¼ can of PB Blaster.

Now all I have left to do is put the Tundra parts back on the passenger side and start on the driver side. :redbrick: End rant from a southern born kid with a northern born 4Runner.

Maybe I'm a bit biased, but I bought my truck with Cooper Discoverers on it, and they were HORRIBLE. Needed a ton of weight to balance, wore funny, were all around no bueno. They looked almost brand new as well. I will never put Coopers on anything I own.
