'02 lift kit need ideas, reviews, etc...

Looking for a lift kit for my '02 'Runner SR5 (not 4wd...sorry) to change the look a bit...

I've seen a few Runners with the RevTek 3" kit and looks quite nice on it...

any other ideas??

oh my, truck is mostly used for fishing so no off road needed for me... (not until i get a 2010!!)

if you want a spacer lift, this is a pretty good option.

it really depends on your budget though. the more you spend, the better quality lift you will get.

I bought the Daystar lift spacers that go between the top plate and the strut assembly mount. They come with new longer studs for the top plate and I'm using it to get more lift out of my Ironman struts and springs. I have not installed this yet but hoping it will yield about 2.5 inches of lift in the front.

Here is what it states:

96-02 4Runner 1.25" Lift Front Coil Spacer Kit: 39.95 Click http://www.wheelersoffroad.com/kt09105.jpg for a picture. This kit mounts on top of the upper strut coil support plate and doesn't affect the actual spring rate. That means the ride firmness will feel similar to stock after installation of this kit. Comes with necessary longer stud kit. Requires disassembly of the front struts.

and btw you can get the one that goes on the strut too for a total of $79 which will yield 2.5" lift

coincidentally... i did find the FAQ about lifts and such AFTER i posted the original thread!! haha... oh well...

i hope to save some money and get my kit install as soon as possible... and i'll post pics when its complete
