02 odd shifting

MY 02 4runner has 142000. I had a factory reman transmission put in about 5,000 miles ago. Lately, when I am driving down the road between 60-70, it will occassionally downshift one unexpectedly and will not upshift again until I come to a stop and restart. It might do it on the way to work, but not on the way home. There are no idiot lights to indicate a fault of any kind. Any thoughts?

So... you're just cruising along smoothly and it downshifts? No throttle changes or hills?

Sounds like a solenoid problem, it should be under warranty from who ever put it in for you.

Driving along on the flat , it will just downshift. I'm checking into the warranty which was 12/12. Thanks for the replies.
