02 Sensor question

I have a 2000 4runner with the 2.7 and im in need of the 02 sensor before the cat. I was wondering if the Bosch sensor was any good or if I should pay the extra money and get the Denso sensor? My 4runner is also California emission standards which to my understanding requires a more expensive plug.

Stick to Denso. Leave the Bosch's in the Kraut cars. They don't play well with Toyota ECU's and the Cali.'s are especially picky. You can get pretty good prices on Amazon. Go here:http://www.urdusa.com/index.php?cPath=9_13 to get the correct Denso number for your rig. It will be a widespectrum Air/Fuel sensor in front, and they are more expensive than the standard O2. Very different technology.

Who you gonna trust? Me, or the noob?

Just make sure you swap out both the upstream and downstream sensors at the same time. I found that they sort of "play together". Stick with Denso... I had problems with the Bosch.
