03 & 04 differences

I'm trying to find specifications for my 04 SE V8 4runner and I couldn't find the correct one for the model. However, I was reading up on the 4th gen reviews http://www.toyota-4runner.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1
and found out that the V8 produces only 235 HP compared to the V6 245 HP. I looked at toyota.com to see the specs because I didn't think there would be much difference. The Toyota website states that the V8 is 260 HP, so that really confused me. I also wiki it and it only states 260 hp for 4th gen. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/4runner

If anyone know where I can find the correct specs for the 04 that would be awesome.

V8 got VVT-i in '05 and was listed as 270hp. The SAE measurement spec was then changed and now it's listed as 260hp.

The 235 HP is correct for the 04 V8. In 2005 the V8 got VVT-i and got a few more ponies under the hood.

When I was thinking of buying the 04, I printed that page out along with all the PDF files.
