03-05 vs 06-09 Dashboard

[locked up]

My 03 Dash is cracked and I'd like to replace it.
So I am looking at junkyard for a miracle...

Will a 06-09 dash fit or does it have to come from an 03-05?

Also, mine has a center speaker.
Could I use one without the center speaker setup and just remove the speaker?


I know about Coverlay and the old recall and that I could recoat it with whatever but none of those things answer my questions.
