03-05 vs 06-09 rear hatch

is there a difference? need to replace mine which is an 08. just curious if the 03-05 is any different than the 06-09

The gate/hatch are the same for all 4th Gens...except if it has a spoiler and the 08 either has the 8 speaker system or not, earlier 4th Gens didn't have any speaker/s in the hatch, so if your's doesn't have the 8 speaker system then all you need to check on is with or without spoiler, but if you have a spoiler you could still use a earlier hatch without a spoiler, you just wouldn't be able to bolt on your spoiler without drilling the bolt holes to do so.
