That's why it's so very important to not say the rotors are 'warped' when they are, in fact, merely spluttered with brake pad deposits due to mechanic inattention when installing and/or driver inattention when braking.
This is where we disagree. You think it's important to know the difference between warping and uneven deposits. I think it doesn't matter because both issues cause the same brake shudder due to excessive runout. Most driver's don't care either way, they just want a smooth braking action without pedal pulsation.
I'm very aware of the potential issues, yet even I fail to "forever be cognizant of [my] braking habits to reduce uneven deposition"
