03 limited vs 07 SR5

I would love to get some advice. There are two rigs locally that I'm considering.

1. 2003 limited v6 4wd 81k miles - he's asking $14,500
2. 2007 SR5 v6 4wd 89k mikes- he's asking $16,500

I would love to get some advice on pros and cons of these two. From my research the main differences I see ar cosmetic plus the 5speed auto on the 07. Anything else I should know?

The 07 will have VVT-i. Also the 2007 will have the newer projection style headlights as well as the LED tail lights. Sure you will probably get a sun roof with the limited, but the VVT-i in the 07 alone would be enough to make me pick it.

I guess it comes down to trim....do you like the trim options in the limited better than the SR5? And is a more modern motor worth an extra 2k to you?

BTW. IMO 14,500 is too high for an 03 even with the miles.

Slight clarification, the V6 was always VVTI. It was the v8 that was not in 03-04.

The 07 sounds like a better deal. You can always add leather if you want it, but you will never get the 4 years back in value.

2003 V6 will have a 4-speed automatic transmission.
2007 V6 will have a 5-speed.
