I'm not too sure where Marathon PO is, I might've been in that vicinity for something else though. . .
I never realized how difficult it is to install these things without AIR TOOLS!!!
I eventually sucummbed and had toyomotors do it, off of Cullen and 610E.
Next Mod: Supercharger. Just need to wait since I'm turbo charging and rebuilding my car.

have to say, even though its black it still looks dam nice.
lol, i cringed when it rains up here, never know if its gonna be just pure rain or if hail is mixed in with it.
hmm, are the factory lights still oem bulbs? should replace them with silverstars, imo big difference in lighting at night.
again great looking truck and the accessories just compliment it.

Actually, I did have some problems with installing the PIAAs because I didn't know WHERE there was a inlet in the firewall, this was PRE-4Runner.org, so I went to 4Wheels and parts and had them do it. . .I bought the lights from them to, so they didn't rape me that bad.
They mounted to the Waag pre-drilled holes on the brush guard.
I'm thinking about getting the Hella Xenon ones, though, heard those are pretty nice. . .

THose are the ugly, horrible stock lights.
I have 6000k Phillips Xenons on a D2S base for 9005's. . .and they fit beautifully, I just blew the stock fuses, and haven't had a chance to actually reinstall them with higher rated fuses. . .I'll post pics in this thread when I do. . !
I hope it doesn't look silly with the stock bulbs in the fog's with the xenons in the low's. . .
ANd I hope they don't defract that much either. . .

When I'm on it, about 15mpg.Otherwise, about 17mpg.
I usually get about 280-300miles/tank. I only do city driving, especially since 59 has shut down the 527 spur. . .so, I'm on Holcombe and BF Speedway and Wesleyan and Westheimer as my main arteries, MEANING all stop and go.
My muscled up Ford Contour SVT gets around 18mpg with the city driving, so I don't feel that bad since it's only a V6 and my runner is a V8.

Once I'm done with School, I'm moving out of here. . .out to Pearland or Sugarland or SOMEWHERE that's SAFE, quiet, and doesn't bloody have horrible traffic. The Metrorail should be up and running by then, so I won't have to worry about the commute.

That looks really good. When you get a chance, could you take a couple more shots in the light from the front and side? I have a '03 Black Sport with the gray cladding and have been thinking about a brush guard, so seeing some good pics will help me decide. Thanks for your help.
