'03 Sport V8 w/cladding is the best

After washing I use Toyota Leather & Vinyl protector. It adds luster and makes the cladding brand new looking.

I park my truck in the garage, so that may be a good reason it has held up so well.

Here are my horizontal streaks. I have not tried the Aerospace stuff or Back-to-Black, but I need to start experimenting with them as all of the cladding has now become faded with these streaks. I have tried three different coatings but all only last about 3 days. Mine is not stored in a garage and is now three years old.

I don't particularly like the look of the cladding on my 4R but I have definitely benefited from it more than a few times.

Without the cladding I would have some juicy scratches in the paint which would be a lot uglier than the cladding itself.

I am actually thinking about having Rhyno liner sprayed on the cladding to make it truly black. Anyone try this?

Its called "Back-to-black" by Mothers (I think). But the problem is that the cladding is grey, not black. The back to black may change the color.

No, that's not the same stuff I'm talking about. I remember thinking the same thing, but there are a bunch of products called "Back to black"

I wonder how good ol' 303 Aerospace UV protectant spray would work on this? I bet it would at least double the cladding look life.

Works great -- it's all I've used on the cladding.

I love the look it gives with the Titanium Silver, it definitely sets it apart from others in a good way IMO.

And since the cladding wasn't offered for very long, then we have unique vehicles.
