I performed several Google searches and some searches on these forums and could not find any details on this problem; there are tons of seat squeak/breakage issues but none that mention what I think is wrong with my seat specifically or how to fix it.
The seat has a small amount (~1 inch) of play on the rear right side if you are sitting in it and take a turn, accelerate, or rock back and forth. I removed the seat and looked underneath and here is what I saw:
under the left side:

It looks to me like that spring assembly is what would hold the seat in place. Am I correct or is that part of one of the seat adjustments and is normally only on one side? If that assembly is what I need is it able to be purchased after market?
There is very little squeaking coming from the seat - just the movement when I turn/accelerate/brake. It is driving me nuts.
Any ideas?
