03 Suspension Saga - What Else Can I Replace At This Point?

Well,,,

When I purchased my used 03 4Runner back on 04 I realized it had a vibration much like a wheel balance issue.

So a few trips back to the dealer and a few set of tires still had the issue so I decided to take on the project of fixing.

Here is what NTB has done for me.

2003 SR5 V8 2X2
175k miles

New(this year and most in last 60 days):
4 BFG AT TA's
KYB Shocks & Struts
Disk & Roters Front and Back
Calipers and Pads Front and Back
Rack and Pinion
Inner and Outer Tie Rods
Front and Rear Sway
New Alignement
More Balances that I can list

I think there might be a few more things

at 70 mph I have a vibration that feels like a balance issue. It comes and goes though. I can feel it in the steering and NTB still has no clue what it is.

The did say that I need to replace my intermediate shaft as that is a cause for some of the slop/play I am feeling. They wanted 1100!!

So I want to figure this out and want to replace the intermed shaft myself if I can. Haven't looked yet as they told me that yesterday.

Any ideas on WTF is going on here with my ride and what else this could be?

Thoughts?

Good lord... I feel like you were taken for a ride! All over some 70 mph vibration? I would have just thought it was my tires (balancing or new), brakes or rotors... but I see you did change them.

If it's only 70+ there are a bunch of threads about balancing frustrations with tires...maybe a new set of rims? Is it in the steering wheel or your butt. (front or rear tires). I would just deal with it at this point, and try different rims...Maybe borrow a friends rims for a day and see if that helps...
