I have many, many, mods to my F-350. I want to do some more to my T4R in PERFORMANCE in runs well, but it cant hang with the F-350 POWER STROKE.My T4R is a 4.0 V6, Red light to red light or top end the F-350 will smoke the T4R. With the Diesel i have Exaust, Cold Air Intake, Banks Turbo, Power Programmer and lots of other stuff. What can i do to my 4.0 V6 T4R, dont want expensive super charger or nothing like that just some little things that might make a difference.

A good cat back exhaust system will certainly help some. I'm not aware of too many other 4th gen V6 power enhancements that will make much of a difference. If headers are availible that will help significantly. I really dont think cold air intakes are worth much power.

Headers are available from JBA. They are marketed for the Taco, but are confirmed to fit the 4R. I am not sure on the details, but there is a Y-pipe mod out there too. Alternative to a CAI, there is a $75 prefilter that can be added to the V6 intake from the FJ parts bin as well. See this thread http://www.toyota-4runner.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=34789

man did you ever think about getting that cladding rhino lined? I think that would be tough. Nice looking truck either way
