03 v8 Sound clip with no muffler + CAI

Well i decided to have the exhaust shop fab me up a pipe to go inplace of my magnaflow muffler. My friends say it sounds like my buddies camaro that has a lamatta performance exhaust on it, i think it sounds sick from inside the cabin but havnt heard it from outside. Well here you go enjoy.

Man that does sound sick. I also have an 03 V8 with the magnaflow exhaust. So all you did was remove the muffler? Will this cause a problem when you get an emissions test? Post some pics when you can.

I believe anything behind the catalytic converter you mess with won't effect the emissions so it should be fine.


So whiteboychriss, you're just running straight pipes from the cat back to the tips? No muffler or anything?

That sounds awesome...I wonder how it'd sound on my 3.4 V6. However I think you'd be more of a target for cops since it's so loud. Great sound though.

I'm sure it'll get old after a while and on long trips. Loud exhausts seem to go with the under 25 year old crowd and I was once there too but on a daily driver it became too much after a while.

I just yanked off my muffler the other day to listen to it..sounded just as good. Im thinking about doing a muffler delete pipe as well.

It will get tiresome on trips though.

65-75, which is basic highway speed, it doesnt make much noise at all

80's a different story though
