Edge, you might want to reconsider. A more frequent drain and refil works well. You exchange three or four quarts of tranny fluid on a regular basis. I do 15k intervals. It's quick and easy to do. Transmission flushing is not necessary and some of the machines are hard on the system, and many times contaminate your fluid in the process. I do software for fleet maintenance, over 8 thousand vehicles and we stopped doing flushes 10 years ago. Now they drain and refill every 30k miles. The results are well documented. Fewer problems and less expensive. And do not put any additives or chemicals in your transmission. I do the process in my driveway with a couple of ramps. Just do it when the transmission has been warmed up. While warming it up, shift through all the positions, then after a warmup drive get up on the ramps, change your engine oil, remove the trans plug and let it drain. I use a container, catch the tranny fluid. Then transfer it to my oil catch can, wipe it out, put in the same amount of new fluid and pour it in. Check the level after cycling the shift lever though all the positions and you're done.
I also use a RL=http://www.emergingent.com/subpage1Magnefine.htm]Magnefine filter[/URL] in the cooler line to the radiator to keep the fluid clean. We've used these filter in fleet applications and Ford puts their own part number on them for many of their truck applications. The filter is small and fits almost anywhere. There are other filters, good and bad, but these are a well proven unit that does not cost too much.
