04 runner v8 no airflow from vents

Picked up my 04 4runner last week and all was working then past few days have been noticing that when i start the truck i get no airflow from vents no matter what speed its set to...

Ive swapped the blower motor,blower resistor,the climate control module,checked fuses and still nothing also replaced cabin air filter. It sometimes takes couple mins for it to kick it or like today i was driving and took 5 mins and all of a sudden air kicked in and all worked normally.

Once it does kick in it works normally so i dont know wht there is the big delay before it starts. ive tried searching forum with no luck..

Pretty sure my '03 does the same. I'm assuming your temperature is set at a warm temp, and the outside/ambient temperature is bitterly cold?

Don't quote me, but I believe that if your truck is parked outside, and can do nothing but push cold air into the cabin, it will wait until the engine is heated up somewhat, and therefore able to push warm air before it gradually feeds in the requested warm air.

Take it of off "auto" if you want instant airflow. Leave it in "auto" and as the engine temp comes up the blower speed increases like [MENTION=132876]MSRP.[/MENTION] said.
