I noticed my power steering fluid was vanishing about once every 2-3 weeks. I saw the top of the pump was wet so naturally I'm thinking a hose. There were no stains on my driveway at all. Low and behold took it in and not only is one lower pressure hose leaking, the high pressure one is too and the pump (from the bottom). I was pretty surprised as I thought with that much leakage I would have thought I'd see something on the ground. I also found out the high pressure hose is proprietary from Toyota and oh about $350! ouch! the truck only has about 103k miles and I've been pretty good at maintenance. But curious as to why you can't get an after market high pressure hose?
