04 V6 reading 280 miles cruise range...which used to be 360.

I noticed now when I fill up the tank, the cruising range deads about 280 miles...it used to read about 365.

Just wondering if this actually reflects the range accurately...the 4R has 110000 miles on it. I also have a K&N filter installed..don't know if that makes any difference. I don't know if the spark plugs have ever been changed, bu I'm planning on doing it this weekend.

Any suggestions?

it's all realitive....
Winter fuel vs summer fuel. 4x4 vs 2x4 drive. Old spark plugs, dirty air filter, dirty oil. City driving vs highway driving. Different type of tires - studs, off road. All these things make a difference.
My winter tires with studs cause me to loose about 3 miles per gallon. So....check all these things. Good luck!
