'05 auto lock programming question.

Used '05 4x4 Ltd. Default program is for doors to lock when put in reverse. Manual says can change to lock when go forward 12 mph, by turning key on, take out of Park, and hold power door lock switch for 5 sec. No work. Anyone with same problem and cure? Thanks.

I know when I wanted to reprogram my 04, it took a couple times til I finally got it to work.

Keep trying, it should work.

You have to do this within 10 seconds of turning the key to on. That could be why this is not working. That is what I was doing wrong at the beginning.
