05 trying to add bluetooth

hey guys, I have an 05 limited with the stock toyota navigation hu. since it is an 05 it does not come from factory with bluetooth or satellite radio. the previous owner has installed sirius sat radio using a control module behind the glove box which seems to plug into the back of the radio possibly ( I have not removed the nav/radio HU to verify) but pressing AM on the nav screen brings me into the sat radio menu and stations.
my question is can I add bluetooth using the Scosche BlueFusion BFTAK module and still use the sat radio? wondering if they would plug into the same port on the back of the radio?
any help would be appreciated.
thanks!

Not sure on this one, but I believe the BlueFusion kit does come with an option for SAT capability. It might be extra, I dont know (I don't use SAT at all). The BlueFusion kit WILL most likely plug into whatever your current hardware (SAT) is plugged into. Like I said, you might have to replace it.

If you go through with it, let us know! BlueFusion/Mediabridge/isimple products are seldom talked about here, so even fewer have reported back.

Personally, I'm leaning toward the Mediabridge.

im not totally sure on which bluetooth kit get yet. is there one that is known to work good with toyota navigation radio?

Sure, search on youtube for each kit.

On this demo, you will notice it's a NAV from a Prius. (Mediabridge)

This video you can see the isimple iPod integration. Here is one from a Honda NAV (can't find a Toyota NAV)

VAIS iVic5 (or 6), pretty cool (if one has an Andriod phone, iVic for androids is Waaaaaay cooler.

From a graphic and usability standpoint, the iVic is the best out there, but is the priciest.

Hope this helps :yo:
