05 v8 4runner replacing X-REAS with aftermarket shocks/struts

Hey guys my 05 v8 sports edition 4runner xrea shocks/struts are pretty much done, it's got about 140k on her right now and I'm looking to replace them with the blisten 5100 shocks/struts, my main question is how do u get rid of or what do u do with the oil lines on the xrea system after replacing the oem xrea shocks with the aftermarket non xrea shocks?
And are there steps to do the whole process in this forum??

Also what setting should I go with the blistiens and stock oem springs? .85"? Or 1.75" lift ?? I tow my bass boat & trailer that probably weighs around 2500lbs. once or twice a week, thanks!!

I paid $250 or so in labor to have a shop do everything. I set mine at .85 but I replaced the springs with the FJs. Did well pulling our 2k lb popup and ok with our 6K tt.

Rocket61 thanks for putting that up, anyways I've search and found that to properly remove the xrea you have to

1. Put the four corners of the car off the ground to let all shocks hang to decompress so it won't pressure the xrea system

2. Loosen the nut at the check valve and not the union bolts at the shocks so your system will not leak if you would like to reinstall Xrea shocks in the future?
?

I couldn't figure out exactly which nut on the check valve to loosen up cause I believe there are like 3 or 4 nuts u can loosen up on that check valve, anyone know which one?

And after loosening the nuts which shocks do I take off first?

I don't have experience with Xreas but from what I've read, it's a pressurized system even if the wheels are off the ground, so be careful.
