06 4Runner 4WD not responding

Just wanted to say hello as this is my first post! Looks like lots of knowledge here!

2006 4Runner 4WD will not even attempt to engage 4WD High or Low. I'm just getting lights flashing and that's it....

I've tried tapping on the actuator and checking that it's getting power. Tried all of the tips and tricks that I've searched throughout the web.

Any other tricks that I haven't tried yet?

Have you tried it while rolling forward very slowly? Get up to maybe 10 mph, put it in Neutral and then try switching to 4Hi. Don't do this with 4Lo.

Yes find a road and drive down it around 10-15 mph in Drive. . .then flutter the gas to try and get it to engage. It is NOT good to do it while stopped. Only 4LO do you have to stop the vehicle.
