06 4Runner door lock problem???

Ok I don't want to deal with this on the 4Runner. I've noticed, about 3 times, that even though the door lock is on the "unlock" position on the right rear door, the person can't open the door! It's not on child lock cuz all I do is lock it, then unlock it and the door can be openned.

Now i had the same problem on ALL of my door locks on the GX, except the left rear door, but that's because it was a guinea pig unit. Now for sure, I know my 4Runner isnt a guinea pig, so does anyone else experience this?!?!?

Please, I've gone through 4 door locks, i don't want to go through a 5th one! :bash: :bash:

Sounds like easily fixed warranty repair - don't sweat it take it in and pick it up the end of the day .

i know its a simple problem but if you experienced the same problem in two different vehicles you too would be frustrated like me. It really pisses me off that such a simple mechanism is giving me problems on a non-guinea pig vehicle with 8k miles when my guinea pig Gx started this same problem at about 38k miles! wtf!! so does that mean by the time it reaches 36k it'll have all new door locks?? I hate dealers having to tear out sidings because there is a new culprit for future rattles:bash:
