06 Limited 2.5" lift w/ Nitto 18"s

Newbie here to T4R, just trying to figure this picture posting out

another shot, I left the OEM bumpstops in on the rear ....either that or the front has just settled a bit but it is a little nose low for my taste. I have XREAS so options are limited.

front looks good though, anyone heard of the front settling a bit over time? Ive had the lift for about 4 months.

I've been pleased with the 285's. They're roughly 32's, i think they fit pretty good considering the lift limitation. I think they're big enough for now atleast.

how much did the wheel/tire set up run you? (if thats not a secret information) :biggrin2:
 
Looks good, I like the how the wider wheels give the broader stance. What is the offset of those wheels? Do you have wheel spacers? Also, what brand of light bar is that? Just curious :)
 
I'm not sure of the offset, when I ordered them the guy said it was about a 1/2 inch more offset than the stock wheels. I do have spacers ..1 1/2". I have heard different things about using spacers but I decided to order these anyhow. They are really a quality product. ...machined, very nice and strong. I've had them for about 4 or 5 months and they have been great. You definitely have to lift it or they rub pretty bad with the spacers. I was concerned about how true the wheels would roll with them but you can't even tell you have them on from the drivers seat. I've had the 4R off road a bit and they've held up great. The bar is a Westin. I really like the Jaos better but ....serious dinero! I'm considering welding some new tabs on it to put some lights up higher in front of the upper grill. Where in Denver are you from, ...I grew up in Wheat Ridge.

You are talking about wheel spacers right? Not lift spacers. I ask because I'm curious to know where you it rubs with the wheel spacers without a lift, how is that possible if the wheel is farther away from the vehicle? What kind of spacers are they, and how much did you pay? If you don't mind me asking :)

I'm from Parker, but I live Downtown right now. Thanks for the info!! :D
 
wheel spacers ..... being farther out, they would rub on the factory mudflaps and the front inside of the fender ( the black plastic part). Trust me, I didn't think it would either but without the lift and with the spacers ...rubbed quite a bit. without the spacers it didn't rub at all. If you think about it, the wheel is farther out so it actually travels further when you turn the wheel. I'll try to find a link for the spacers, they were a little steep ....around $250-$300 if I recall. They're machined billet aluminum. I think they're cheaper ones out there but I usually feel you get what you pay for.

Thanks. The front bar is made by Westin. I think one of the best places to get it is from Performanceproducts.com. I like the look of the other bar that Westin makes but I don't like how they etched "Westin" into the skid plate. ...just my 2 cents
 
I bought it online ....it's a Daystar and I installed it myself. Not too hard but XREAS makes it a little harder than normal
 
I used strut spring compressors. An impact wrench is a must. You can do it without one but holycow .....tired just thinkin about it.
 
Looks sweet. I think you must be out in the PW County somwhere since I dont recognize the housing. (I used to be with the Manassas City PD--Now with Arlington Sheriff).
