06 V8 Transmission Service

I bought an 06 V8 SE with 55k on it, and it now has 60k. I don't beleive it has been used for towing, and am wondering if it is a good idea to have the transmission fluid changed or not. It seems like some prefer not to touch it on V8's, while others recommend it. Any suggestions?

In Canada the transmission fluid change for a 2008 V8 is listed at the 96000km service or 60000mi. I had it done 35k ago and no complaints!

if you want to

60K is a regular interval for heavy towing. The manual states the fluid to be lifetime. I'm sure many people on here will tell you to change it around 100k or so.
