07 Sport Roof Rails

I bought a 2007 4Runner a few ago.

We are planning a camping trip this weekend. I have a medium size bigfoot cargo bag for most our our lighter gear - sleeping bags, tents, chairs, etc.

I have some long bungee cords I've used to tie that down to our old vehicle - but it had the more typical (narrower/flat) roof rails that were easy to get the hooks of the cords around.

The rails on the sport are tubular with a wide diameter - and I'm trying to figure how I should best attach to them.

Any ideas?

Wrap the bungee around the rail and hook it to itself.

+1 for that although if it were me I would be more confident using tiedowns instead of bungees, although I am biased with having a bad experience with using bungees.
