07 T4R Sports 2x4 purchase Help.

Ive been shopping for 07 Sports v6 with sunroof and spoiler. In socal, sports 2x4 dont come with spoiler. They want 25700 after 2000 rebate plus fees and tax... what do you think about the deal? OR wait for 08??

I guess i can order spoilers from ebay or spoilerdepot.com? Ive done this to my GX470 and it worked out ok.... suggestions guys? THanks!!!

Most of the 4runners i see there are the SR5 2WD w/out the spoiler and running on 16 inch wheels... never had a chance to see a sports or limited seriously...

I think that price is fair, there would only be a few minor changes on the 08 from what i hear, in regards to the spoiler in my opinion you'll be better off with buying a 4runner that has one installed already or have the dealer add it and let them install the thing, that requires drilling holes and all that so you might as well have it done by them so in case something bad goes wrong you could always go back and put the blame on them

Dealer wants to charge $650 to install it. Its something that I can do so its ok....

From what im understanding, the seat heater is only available on Lmited?

Also, im gonna install double din Pioneer or Kenwood Nav system... NO amps or upgrading to aftermarket speakers... so you guys think its worth getting the JBL upgraded speaker system?

Correct--only on the Limited. Typically heated seats are only found on vehicles with leather. Cloth doesn't get uncomfortable enough in cold weather, thus manufacturers don't offer heated cloth seats. However, I believe there are members here who have added heated seat elements to their SR5 and SE 4Runners. Check the accessories sub-forum.

If you're planning on getting an aftermarket head unit, the basic sound system will be much easier to integrate with the factory speakers. The JBL system has an amp which requires an aftermarket interface unit before it'll work with the new head unit. The JBL Synthesis system will give you more speakers though.

THanks for the info guys! I just came back from test driving a v6 sports 2x4. Drives very well and also i felt the interior felt plain and simple, i dont think for the price, you get a quality truck like this from any other manufacture.

SO Im pretty set on sports, v6, 2x4 with sunroof. Now the color is the dilema. BLue or black.... i think black is hard to take care of but it looks nice when washed...

THings to upgrade:
1)HID kit (i did this on my GX470 from HIDdepot.com)
2)add spoiler from spoilerdepot.com
3) AFtermarket double din nav unit (pioneer or kenwood)

I think the savings i get from getting a 2x4 v6 compared to limited one can pay for the things above or little money out of my pocket....

dude, seat heaters are for whimps, just get some adipose augmentation for your gluts from Dr. 90210 and you are in so-cal so there is no need for them...last time i checked it doesn't really get cold down there. plus it feels like you wet your pants. not much difference in between black or blue since they're both dark they'll be hard to take care of but i'd go with blue. don't forget to add the spoiler because it'll prevent your car from tipping over with downforce..haha...ne...gah..CHINA out...
