Thanks! I've had the 265 KO's for 110k miles. They have been absolutely bombproof. I'm sure the 275 KO2's won't disappoint!

Thank you! But I actually already using that code in my scan gauge (trany oil pan temp)… I may understood you post incorrectly, but thought you have a separate reading (code) for torque converter.

The stock TFT readout is the torque converter temperature.

Had the new KO2's installed today.
HOLY SHIT! I know my old tires were on their last legs with 114k on them. They wore evenly, had fine grip in the rain, and made it through the Chicago winter just fine.....but seriously. On a scale of 1-10, replacing the worn suspension improved the ride by like a 5 and the tires are a definitive 10. I was still disappointed with how my car handled after just the suspension replacement. It just felt like something was off. The ride was still quite jarring at times.
Immediately I noticed a difference, just pulling out of the parking lot. Unbelievably smooth, a quarter of the road noise, zero highway vibration, and a way more controlled ride. The ride actually drastically improved going from worn C rated tires to the E's. They also don't rub at all!
I'd be lying if I didn't feel a slight power decrease. Unsprung weight went from 45#/tire to 55#. Stock is 38#. It's not noticeable in city driving with the V8 torque.
Unbelievably happy!!! I know my alignment is close but I'm taking it to a fellow member and 4Runner buff to really dial it in.
Moral of the story: replace tires after 5 years regardless of mileage and tread wear.

Good eyes.
I actually prefer the look of the SR5 rack and step so I traded someone.
There is no comparison between the two. XREAS was great when it was new but the combo I'm running now is far better. I didn't like the way XREAS reacted when you hit bumps square on with both wheels. It was harsher in some ways. I glide right over the 4" potholes in Chicago.
Tires play a huge roll in overall feel as well.
I really like your set up, just got an 03 sr5 and yours is really close to what I want. I am considering going with the 6112s, 5100 rears, and the icon 2" springs in the rear. Do you think that if i leave the spacers that you have out of the mix the 4 runner will be too close to level? (I too like a little bit of rake above level). Was trying to avoid spacers as a whole. Thanks, and props on an awesome looking rig!!

I put the spacer on only the DS rear to eliminate the DS lean. The 4R weighs something in excess of 300+ lbs more on the DS than the PS without a driver.
I put the spacers on the front because I didn't want to increase preload on the spring which results in an improved ride.

Truck looks awesome! Especially after 173k. Goes to show how well these things can last and how they can still look excellent when someone maintains them properly over the years. Props to you! Great photos as well.

Thanks man!! Yeah, I take pride in taking care of it. The chassis is pretty spotless too, even after 10 years in NJ and Chicago.
Your build is coming along nicely. Looking forward to seeing your truck when it's done.

Nikon D800 with 24-70mm 2.8.
Don't recall settings. Spent 5 mins in Lightroom and maybe some PS CC before posting.
BTW Camera settings really don't mean shit.
