I'm a long time lurker and finally going to start a build thread on here. I purchased my 2007 SE V8 new in January of 2008 and have driven all over the country with it. It currently has 145k trouble free miles on it. The only unscheduled maintenance items were two vvt-i oil flow solenoids. The left and right sides went within 15k of each other. They fail in the open position which means no damage is done; however, there is a noticeable decrease in performance.
Currently, I have a completely overhauled JL, Alpine, and Audioque stereo system, a hard wired 9500i radar detector, and BFG KO's with 105k on them.
I'm FINALLY upgrading the completely worn out XREAS. The ride has gotten to the point where I no longer enjoy driving my car, it frequently bottoms out and the handling overall has substantially deteriorated.
I purchased a set of 6112's for the front, 5100's and Icon 2" springs for the rear. Additionally, I bought new front and rear sway at bushings and all new OEM hardware for the install. The plan is to lift it 1.5-2" over stock; it's a DD and I don't want to lift it so far that the alignment becomes difficult to maintain.
