1/4 in. spacer on front discovered today, is this crap?

I rotated my tires today.

First time since I bought my truck last summer.

Found something that looks just like this on the front end only, probably to give the UCAs some clearance :

Looks like 1/4".

Is this crap, or what? How dangerous is this?

I want some spidertrax, so I may need them sooner than I thought.

Seems like the lugs wouldn't be engaged enough at the threads to me.

What do you all think?

I don't off road, but want to soon.

Our wheels are hubcentric; is the hub still engaging the wheel? If so may be OK but if the hub's NOT engaging I wouldn't use them. I can't imaging that just 1/4" less engagement on the threads would be bad AS LONG AS the hub is engaged. I just went with Bora 3/4" front and Spidertrax 1.25" in rear. Works for me.

if you can easily do it still, id measure it and post up the thickness. the wider the spacer the less thread your lug nuts engage on, and the less secure your tire is. personally i wouldnt use those

As stated above.. If its not hub centric. I wouldnt use them.. chances of vibration and it coming loose.
