1" vs 2" body lift

okay guys need a lil help...i wanna do a BL and i cant make my mind up..right now i have 2.5 lift all around and i wanna go a lil higher...1" or 2" body lift...

any opinion will help..MAHALO

Check out 4Crawler.com--they'll give you all the info you need to make an informed decision, and they have excellent kits. With a 1", you won't have to change much (if anything)--it's small enough that most stuff will extend to cover the distance without compromising function. None of them are too difficult to install, though--I did a 3" on a 2nd Gen, with various extensions and such, and was finished in a couple hours with one helper.

A 1" lift doesn't seem like it would be worth the effort, and a 3" is a lot more work to install and doesn't look good (IMO).
A 2" lift is a good compromise. I have one from 4Crawer on my 84 and 83.
