'10-'13 High Clearance Body Chop?

Has anyone attempted a DIY SSO-Style high clearance body chop on a 2010-2013 4runner? I'm considering it but am not sure where I should cut or how it will affect the rigidity of the front bumper cover. Please post pics if you have!

I trimmed my front bumper on my 2011. I didn't do an angled cut like the sso cuts on the newer front end, but i cut along the bottom of the bumper and took off a good 2+ inches of bumper i believe. Not sure if its obvious, but if you compare it to a stock sr5/limited front end you can tell

yea if you want it to look like crap.....he prolly used a cut off wheel on a air grinder or a angle grinder. and some tape to guide you.

I recently chopped off the bottom few inches of my limited bumper as well. I masked off the line I was going to cut with masking tape, then used a dremel with a reinforced cutting wheel + a pocket knife to cut through it. I finished it off with "Universal Car Door Guards Rubber U Shape Edge Trim Protection Strip" from Amazon.

You will need to cut the inner fender liners as well since they now extend below past the bumper. I found it easiest to cut with a sharp blade. To prevent the inner fender liners from flapping around, I also made sure to leave the part that sticks out towards the bumper and zip tied it to the (now) unused bumper brackets that are attached to the bottom of the bumper crash bar.
