Thanks again for the compliments guys! I have really tried my best to keep the 4Runner in the best shape possible inside, outside, and of course, all the engine and drive train parts. I was very, very careful to gently and properly break the engine in during the first 1000 miles of ownership. I don't think I ever drove it over 60mph the first couple of months, and no "jack rabbit" starts from a stop light.
I have had every single scheduled maintenance done right on time (every 5,000 miles) at the same Toyota dealership where I bought it.
I installed Weather Tech Floor Liners on all the floorboards and rear cargo area the first day I had it so all my carpet and the OEM floormats are still in perfect condition.
The 4WD comes into use mostly in snow. Not that we get that much here in Atlanta......but when we do it's nice to have the full time 4WD, and not have to think about it. I love the short drive to east Tennessee and western North Carolina in the winter, where they see a good bit of snow!
