Hey guys, for those of you who drive long distances in your cars, what do you do for for cushioning your seats? Buy newer replacements? Pillows? I drive about 100 miles a day 3 times out of the week and feel it's affecting my behind having to sit for so long. Is there anything that you guys would recommend?

Try swapping the bottom cushions of the front seats over and see if that helps. If it does, than you know your drivers seat foam needs to be replaced and that can also buy you some time to get a replacement
Is there a way of doing that without ripping the passenger seat up?

The ease of the swap is dependent on model year... They all physically swap, but for '99+ there are occupancy sensors to deal with.
Even then, they stock seats (even the sport or leather seats) are not great for comfort... Swapping seats (custom brackets) will be the only cure if the OEM seats don't work for you.

The seat shape,foams and adjustments ranges used in our trucks seems good quality and well engineered - for the average person.
My short answer is to change your seat angle and back angle a small amout for your drive each way. Do not sit on a wallet.
My long answer is based on years of working in the Office Furniture Industry during the "Ergonomic computer workstaton and seating" roll out during 1980, 90's, 2000 etc.
The office/computer chair design and testing specs (BIFMA, ANSI, HFS etc) can fill a file cabinet drawer.
Chair cushion specification is very complex but foam always will wear our eventually.
Your body shape and proportions will determine how well you fit the Toyota design criteria for the drivers chair.
If you think your seat foam is collapsed try sitting in new 4runners. If replacing you drivers chair seat is needed, I would search salvage vehicles that were totaled, maybe you can get a ready to install complete chair. You can use parts of it or the whole chair. Be careful with chair mounted air bags.

did you mean butt or but.... kidding
I think a lot of it also depends on the previous owners,,,,500 pounders etc can wear a seat out fast. I also agree dont sit on your wallet that long. Change positions.
im over 6 foot and over 200, while I find these seats not the most comfortable, I have been in some cars far more uncomfortable,

When I got my 4Runner in 2013, I splurged and had a local upholstery shop re-stuff the seat bottom with stiff foam. Unfortunately, the bolsters got stiffened to the point where the circulation in my legs was cut off by the front bottom bolster.
I hacked on that and made it better, but it was still weirdly stiff.
By and by, I got one of the last available OEM bottom seat foams from Toyota USA a few years ago. Installed it and found it was very soft. I sank about 2 or 3 inches down into it when I sat on it.
My acceptable but not perfect remedy was to take 2 layers of ordinary floor mat (carpeted type), one from a 4Runner rear floor mat and one from a VW.
Cut both to the inside-the-bolster size and slip them under my Seat Saver thin cloth seat covers to act as "stiffening layer". Works OK and much easier on the butt than soft foam.
I hacked on that and made it better, but it was still weirdly stiff.

I drove bus and got a thick high quality portable seat cushion from them that I somehow forgot to give back. I don't use it in my 4runner though.
When I bought my most recent Previa I had the seat bottom restuffed and upholstered. Guy quoted me $60 and billed me $150. I paid $60.
