$100 off Tires at Discount Tire Direct

I just bought new tires on ebay, from discount tire direct. They have a coupon for $100 off a purchase of $400+. So I bought two tires, then two other tires for $200 off total. I got four 285/75-16 COOPER DISCOVERER S/T MAXX for $640 shipped (I already have one as my spare that I got for $90 a while back.)

Use coupon code: CTIRES316 (you have to use Paypal to pay).

Just thought I would share, hopefully it's useful to someone.

I should also mention, I had placed the order last night, before they posted the code. And when I called them today, they were extremely helpful in getting that order canceled (even though it had shipped) and having me resubmit the the two orders (they are are just letting the tires from the original order continue on their way and not send a new shipment). It had to be done through ebay, not over the phone, since ebay provides half the rebate and discount tire direct provides the other half.

Since I was considering getting treadwrights, this turned out to be a fantastic deal, and I'll definitely deal with them again, as I was impressed by their avoce and beyond and friendly customer service.

I called the number off their site, discounttiredirect.com and choose the option about existing orders, they can't see ebay orders directly, but they took care of it still through someone in the ebay department, but I'm not sure how to get there directly.
 
Definitely thanks for the heads up as I am looking for tires for my daily. I haven't ever dealt with the ebay discount tire? Is it pretty straight forward and just deliver it to your door?

Any discounts on tire rack haha?

It's just a coupon code at check out, you paste it in and hit apply. You do have to use paypal to pay though.

I ordered mine Wednesday morning, and they got to my door today. They just slap a label on them and UPS them.

You could try to match it at Tire Rack, but I'm not sure they would do it. Worth a shot. DTD is pretty great though since there is free shipping, and no tax for me.

easy and super helpful, was able to cancel the order thanks man. As far as the coupon code, were you able to use it twice?
 
Just got mine!! Thanks for the heads up on this. This is $400 cheaper than I can get them around me. What all this means too is MY SUSPENSION IS GOING ON!
 
This was just too good of a price for me to ignore. Been on the phone with all the local tire dealers this morning and no one can come close with the 255's so....
I went with the same size as the OP. With the free shipping it's one heck of a good deal.
