$1000 to spend

New to the 4th Gen, keep reading the forums and just thought I would ask.

I just picked up a 05 v8 4x4. I should have about $1000 to put toward a lift. I will have a winch, but no bumper any time soon. What would be the most comfortable daily lift that will perform off road when given the chance. Would like around 3 inches and have no problem adding a BL to the suspension lift.

Stay away from Toytec. I wasted 1k with them just to have to switch to Icon.

What bossman said above. I have Bilstein 5100s and OME coils for my 05 V8. It’ll net about 3” and is durable and performs well on and off road. Then you will still have money left over if you want to do a concealed or low profile winch bumper for the 4th gen.
