Thanks man!
Actually, I went with some Icon IVD coated extended travel COs with Camburg ball joint UCAs for the front. For the rear, I went with Sway-a-way 1.5" springs and Bilstein 5100 shocks. I spent more money than I planned on but I like how it turned out. If I were to do it over, I'd go with Icon or Total Chaos UCAs. I'm not really happy with the lack of caster from the Camburgs (it drives good, but the numbers in my head are eating at me). Also I'd possibly go with Icon rear shocks (just to match the front). I got a good deal on everything through Wheelers Offroad using the black friday discounts they gave me.
I do run the 5100s all around on my 4th gen and they have been good to me. Just hit the 70k mark with that setup.
As for the wheels, it comes down to your opinion on what you think looks best. I think the black wheels would look best but the grey would probably look good too. For tires, I like BFGs. I've ran countless sets of the ATs over the years on everything from my 4Runner, my '69 F100, to my former F350 dually. They work great for me in all conditions I've put them through. I'll probably get a set of the new KO2s after the first of the year and move the KOs to my 4th gen. The Nittos seem ok though. I installed a bunch of those when I was in the truck accessory biz. Never really had any complaints on the Nittos that I can remember. Since your in the midwest, I'd recommend the BFG KO2s since they are severe snow rated.
