140 K - Front End...wait or preventative work?

Looking for some opinions...

I have 141,000 miles on my 2003 and I am wondering if I should wait until my wheel bearings go out or replace assuming they are on the last 20% of life?

Same question for the CV Axles...They have been leaking from the boots, I have rebanded them...but surely has hard as I drive it, they will soon go?!?!?!?

Dunno...I regularly travel 500 miles and don't want to be stranded someday on the long haul and then get held over a barrel in the middle of nowwhere...

What do all of you think?

I definitely think you should get new front axles if you're CV boots are leaking.

If you are handy with a wrench, front cv's and wheel bearings aren't bad. You could do both sides on a saturday. I'm in Orem and have a 35 mm socket

Don't fix it if it's not broke. In my line of work I have a group of people that keep me busy because they go in and screw things up for the hell of it. I'm
OK with it.... easiest money I've ever made and they keep coming back.
