15" wheels

Just bought a 2000 4runner that has 16" wheels and only fair tires.
I have 94 4runner that has 15" wheels and brand new tires on it.
Will 15" wheels fit on the 2000 4runner and clear the brakes enough or will the 15" wheels cause problems?

I believe the reason for the factory 16inch wheels was to clear the larger brakes. Although I could be wrong, I don't think the 15s will work.

The 15" will rub on the brake caliper, it is possible to grind off what is need, but I would not. You can always sell the good tires on CL, and the fair tires and come close to enough for new 16" tires
